Message	But if no 3rd helper, use a 2x4 to prop it open while removing things. I removed my hatch about 1 month ago. Both sides have a wiring harness that need to be removed first. Make sure you have all nuts off the top hinges. Then you make have to lift the hatch lid open more than all the way to free the hinges. Not certain, but it was almost like there was some kind of adhesive under each hinge.
